Sports Xtra are based in Cambridge and were formed in 2002 by two Loughborough Sports Science graduates. Over the last fours years the company has built an enviable reputation for quality products and a professional service at affordable prices.
Initially our main focus was on promoting and providing opportunities for young people to enjoy sport and the benefit that this brings. The sports development services that we offer continue to be immensely popular and have been used at all levels of sport from national organisations such as the Football Association and Active Sports to parents arranging birthday parties for their children.
Sports Xtra have supplied customised sports wear and equipment to schools and clubs since 2003. We have a range of experience and expertise covering all the mainstream sports and our contacts within the sports industry enable us to offer a professional and complete service to both clubs and individual customers. We have launched sports-kit.com to offer this service to a wider range of customers and provide a convenient and professional shopping experience without the hassle, queues and poor service commonly found in high street sports shops.
You will also find our prices are far lower than you would expect to see in high-street stores. The reason we are able to offer premium goods at a fraction of the recommended retail price is because our overheads are considerably less than the traditional sports shop.
